------PARK------
It was warm enough last week to go to the park! Well, it was like 65 with a breeze… but the boys had fun!
Corbin was cracking me up crawling all over the ‘wood chips’. It didn’t bother him at all and he just had a blast!
------PARTY------
On Saturday we drove to Edmond to celebrate Jackson’s 2nd birthday! Jackson is the little boy of our old neighbors' travis and kandace. We miss them dearly… but are happy that they are at least living within driving distance now! Kandace is quite the party planner! J’s party was so much fun… and I got to have fun with my new camera.
------FRIENDS------
After we left the party we went and visited our other good friends Hollie and Keith in Yukon, Ok. What was meant to be a quick hi for a few hours turned into a fun night with friends! Hollie and I went shoe shopping and when we were out the guys called and asked us to pick up some steaks for dinner. We had a yummy steak dinner and didn’t end up leaving OKC till after 10pm. We had a wonderful time!
------SNOW------
It SNOWED yesterday and today! Cooper wasn’t too interested last year, so I was excited this year when he couldn’t wait to go out and play in it. It wasn’t much snow… but it was cute to watch him walk around in it.
Today was the last day… It was the last day for 2010 and the last day of Todd’s month off. We have enjoyed having him home (he only worked a few hours the entire month) – got a lot of things done around the house…. but reality has it… rotations start again the first of January.
New Years Eve we asked Cooper what he wanted to do… the day was all his. His choice: Incredible Pizza (my least favorite place in the entire world)….
So Incredible Pizza here we come. Todd thought, oh its NYE there won’t be a lot of people there. I told him he was crazy and was confirmed when we pulled into the parking lot… parking very close to the big giant sign…. (close to 71st)
It actually turned out not being that bad. We had a good time. I think Cooper played 5 rounds of mini golf and got a few in 2 shots!
I thought this picture was funny. :)
We then did a little bowling…
and rode on the train…
Corbin enjoyed sitting in the bounce room… didn’t quite know what to do… but he had fun!
There was like a 30 min wait for the go-carts – but we waited……
Finally!
After Incredible Pizza we went home for naps and the decided to go out again for dinner. Todd and I hadn’t been to the new Applebee’s in Broken Arrow so we thought we would try it…. They were having mechanical problems and were closed so we asked cooper where he wanted to go…. he said “waffle house!” (insert huge excitement from cooper)
We had a great time, Cooper loves bacon and waffles and loves to watch them cook.
All and all our new years eve was a blast. There was no drinking or late night partying… just our little family spending some quality time together. I can only hope our 2011 is as wonderful and blessed as 2010 was for us!
love, the worsham’s!
