WOW! Its Been CRAZY!!!

Woah! so our lives have been a bit crazy these past few months! With grandma being in the hospital - and Andrew being born it has been quite crazy.

Andrew had a little bit of a problem when he was a little less than 2 weeks old... he was put in the hospital because he was throwing up everything he was eating. Turns out he had Pyloric Stenosis... which is the muscle that goes from the stomach to the small intestines (it is when the muscle is to big) it was an easy fix once they found out what it was. Surgery went great and he is now 6 weeks old and doing great!!!

Grandma had surgery as well in June... she had her colon removed. It was a rough surgery but had to happen or she would not have survived. She is doing better each day. She left the hospital a week and a half ago and is in a "rehab" facility. Our goal is to get her out of that facility so she is able to live on her own again. So keep your fingers crossed.

This past wednesday my mom's Aunt and 2 cousins (Jenna and Ken) came to tulsa for a visit! We went to dinner one night and had a great time! Even though it was late all 3 kids did FABULOUS!!

I hope everyone is doing well... Have a wonderful week!!!!!!!

Baby, Storm and Grandma

I just had a free moment i thought i would say hi! We weathered the storm... We had 75mph winds here in Broken Arrow. All of our trees are still standing... although our porch furniture ended up in the neighbor's yard and our trash cans at the end of the street.

My parents had the rest of a tree that had already fallen in the ice storm fall onto their house. Luckily it didn't do any damage... just an afternoon of cutting up alot of branches! (Good thing mom and i bought a chain saw during the ice storm!)

The electricity was out at my parents house for 2 days so Baby Andrew, Mommy & Dalton all came to stay at our house. On our way we stopped at the hospital to introduce Grandma to Andrew for the first time.

Grandma is doing ok. She is very sick but might get to goto an extended care facility soon.

Todd and i are just going with the flow. We are enjoying having another baby in the house... kinda makes us exited for another one!!! :) Cooper does need a little brother (or sister) - but not just yet... Todd needs to make it through a few more years of school first! :)

Picture taker never gets pictures of herself! But Todd finally took a picture of Andrew and I! :) Hope everyone is doing well!

Breakfast of Champions

Ok so i figured this was definitely blog worthy of sharing with everyone!

This morning i was on the phone making some phone calls... Cooper is now a "big boy" and is getting to play in the kitchen/dinning room. Well he has been really good and is learning what "no, sir" means.

Well, i was at the dinning room table and it was just a little too quite for comfort... so i got up and looked around the corner and this is what i found!

And yes... there were TEN cookies with bites out of them!!!!

I guess cookies really are the breakfast of champions!

Hello!!

So i knew this was going to be a challenge for me when i started this blog to keep up with it... and it has proven to be just that! I keep forgetting about it.... :) But i am going to try again!!!

Right now... Cooper has been sick for the past couple of days... running a fever of about 101.5 and higher... finally i decided the 3rd day was long enough so i took him to the doctor. Can i just say that i LOVE his doctor! He is so wonderful with Cooper and never looks at me like i am a crazy mom bringing in my not really sick kid :) He always is very thorough with everything... Today he took a chest x-ray to be sure that everything was ok because he had had a fever for so long. I was asked TWICE today if i was pregnant again yet! C'mon guys!!! Dr. Raley asked me because i asked if he was accepting new patients... he said - you've got to get with the program!! :) And THEN when i was in with Cooper getting his x-ray the nurse asked me again if i was pregnant! I know it is just a precaution... but still! And in answer to that question NO!! i am not pregnant again yet... and hopefully not for a year or so... we want Todd to be as far through pharmacy school as possible.
Back to the x-ray... anyways... he said it looked perfect and that Cooper probably just had a virus. So back to square one... on a good note i think his fever broke tonight! YA means maybe i will get some sleep tonight :)

This is finals week coming up for Todd... He is in FULL study mode and has been for about a week now. He finished is 100 site visit hours (and yes, he DOES NOT get paid... grrrrr) And had is first final exam today. Starting Monday he has a final everyday until Friday at 10am... i think he might be having a party on Friday night... :) 1st year of pharmacy school almost done! only 3 more to go!!!

Hope everyone is doing good! I will try and post another blog soon!

Lots of Love and Hugs!!!
